Amber Wilkie

Amber Wilkie is a U.S. Navy veteran, engineer, and advocate dedicated to making a lasting impact in her community. She served 10 years in the U.S. Navy, where she worked as a Nuclear Engineering Surface Warfare Officer, leading teams in high-pressure environments. Before her military service, Amber was a high school math teacher, sharing her passion for education. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics, which led her to her current role as a Project Engineer. Originally from Texas, Amber was fortunate to spend the majority of her naval career in San Diego—a city she fell in love with and now calls home. Her diverse background in leadership, problem-solving, and service fuels her commitment to creating meaningful change through Break Free.

Nayana Shireff

Originally from New York City, Nayana Shireff graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and spent six years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear reactor operator, a role that took her across the country and ultimately led to a career as a field service engineer. Now proud to call San Diego home, Nayana is passionate about supporting those who have experienced trauma and are working to reclaim their lives. She is deeply committed to standing alongside survivors, advocating for compassionate care, and helping create a safe space where healing can begin.

Ashley Reed

Born and raised in San Diego, Ashley Reed is deeply rooted in her community and dedicated to enhancing the lives of those around her. She holds a B.S. in Business Management from San Diego State University and A.S. degrees in Construction Management and Building Construction Technology, providing her with a strong background in leadership and project oversight. Currently, she serves as the Director of Facilities at a California nonprofit organization that strives to provide comprehensive mental health services and support. In her leadership role, Ashley focuses on practical and innovative solutions to improve operations and support the organization's goals. Her dedication to excellence and passion for leading change ensure that her efforts have a lasting positive impact on the community.


Licensed Clinician Advisor

Imani Brockington

Imani Brockington, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and emerging clinical operations leader with over four years of post-licensure experience in behavioral health. She holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University and specializes in scaling care delivery, optimizing clinical systems, and improving patient outcomes within digital health environments. With a foundation in trauma-informed care, she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational strategy to fast-growing healthcare organizations.

Beyond her clinical role, Imani is actively building a portfolio in clinical operations and program management, contributing to initiatives that enhance onboarding, streamline workflows, and align clinical and product teams. She is particularly passionate about translating frontline clinical insights into sustainable systems that support both providers and patients at scale.

Imani’s broader work centers on advancing trauma-informed, patient-centered care while driving operational excellence. She is committed to shaping the future of behavioral health by bridging the gap between clinical practice and systems-level innovation.
